Homes typically provide areas and facilities for sleeping, preparing food, eating and hygiene.

Censorship is the suppression of free speech, public communication or other information which may be considered harmful, sensitive, politically incorrect or inconvenient as determined by governments, media outlets, authorities or other groups or institutions. It occurs in a variety of different media, including speech, books, music, films, and other arts, the press, radio, television, and the Internet.

Singlehood is usually defined as the state of being unmarried. However, the term also applies to having no romantic partner. Some people may assume that to be single means to be unhappy. However, some people prefer to live a single life and find many advantages to it. Others choose to stay single after being divorced or widowed. Scientists are busy developing machines that are able to perform tasks normally associated with humans, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making and translation between languages. Many people wonder whether robots will one day have the ability to feel emotions too.

A chore is a routine task or job that is often done around the home. Many people find chores unpleasant or boring and are reluctant to do them. However, when chores are divided between many people they can be accomplished much faster. Parents often assign chores to their children so that they can learn new skills and become more independent. Sometimes, children are given an allowance or ‘pocket money’ if they complete all their household chores.
