CAMBRIDGE ‘IN USE’ SERIES
The Cambridge ‘In Use’ series is my favourite comprehensive English book series for English learners of any level. I have been using it as a teaching resource for the last 2 years and can recommend it for any English learner, either for self-study, to supplement learning or for extra practice It is a best-selling series that has been trusted by more than 30 million learners. The material is presented in a simple way with clear explanations and with a wide variety of exercises for added interest and to consolidate your learning. The books come with answer keys and CD-ROMs.
English Grammar In Use
The English Grammar in Use series covers the most important grammar that any English learner should know. There are three different levels: elementary, intermediate and advanced, and each book contains more than 100 different grammar topics. There are illustrations, explanations of grammar rules, examples and exercises to try. The books are well presented, organized and easy to understand.

English Pronunciation in Use
Sixty easy-to-use units cover all aspects of pronunciation, including individual sounds, word stress, connected speech and intonation. An additional reference section offers help with the pronunciation of numbers and geographical names and fun exercises on phonemic symbols and minimal pairs. My favourite grammar manual is Michael Swan’s ‘Practical English Usage’. It is suitable for intermediate and advanced English learners and covers every grammar rule you can imagine in an easy to use format. It is organized as an A-Z dictionary of over 600 problem points in the English language, all explained with practical, clear information. It has sold over two million copies and is a world best-seller.
