English Conversation – The Future
Tuesday, September 29, 2015 @ 11:09 PM
The future is what will happen in the time after the present. The future has been a major subject of philosophy, religion, and science for thousands of years. Future studies or ‘futurology’ is the science and practice of discussing the likelihood of future events and trends. Futures studies seeks to understand what is likely to continue and what is likely to change. A key part of this process is understanding the potential future impact of decisions made by individuals, organisations and governments. Leaders use results of such work to assist in decision-making.
