English Conversation Lessons

Learning English grammar is important, but it will not help you to understand everyday conversations or to speak English naturally and fluently without feeling embarrassed.  The only way to become an effective communicator in English is to practice listening and speaking as much as possible through regular interaction with native speakers.

I, and my team of qualified teachers, offer fun and interesting online conversation lessons using skype that are personalized to your interests, professions and needs and which are designed to help you develop fluency and confidence to speak English.

How the Lessons Work

Lessons involve a combination of reading, dialogue and free conversation and include new vocabulary, help with pronunciation and feedback after every lesson. We send you pre-lesson preparation materials and an mp3 recording of your entire lesson to review at your leisure.

We cover every kind of social speaking topic, from personal English to what to say in a job interview, from environment topics to relationships topics and from world events to sports and famous people.  Choose from more than 200 topics or, if you prefer, we can choose the topic based on your area of need. Click here to view the topics.  If you prefer to focus on something that is not on the list, just let your teacher know and we will tailor the lesson to your request.

How to Book a Lesson

You can start by having a 15-minute free trial lesson.  This allows us to grade your level of English (but don't worry there are no tests!) and also allows you to decide if the lessons are right for you.  To book your free trial lesson, please contact me with your name, your skype name, your country and time zone and the times you are available for your trial lesson.  You will be allocated to one of the qualified Teachers who will conduct your trial lesson.  After your free trial, if you are keen to sign up for some lessons, then please visit my prices & bookings page and make your booking from there.
